After spending several days visiting the wonders of this beautiful country, we recommend staying overnight in one of the most beautiful buildings in Rajastan. We are talking about Samode Palace, located 30 km from Jaipur, which received princes, artists, musicians and travelers. It is a splendid example of the Indo-Saracenic architecture that combines the Indian and Moghul styles. The building, built in 1540, is now an elegant and refined hotel.
The location is enviable, since it is located on the Aravalli mountains near the medieval village of Samode. The palace has decorated rooms and suites, frescoed royal halls, gardens and a monumental swimming pool. An incredible abode where to live the atmosphere of the Maharajas.
I felt like a princess. The room we had chosen was actually as big as an apartment with a four-poster bed and traditional furniture. The bathroom was as big as the rooms we had stayed in the previous days.
I must have been an Indian princess in one of my previous lives. I felt like I was home!
