The Silk Road

The Silk Road is one of the few travel names has created a myth around it. It creates emotions and makes you dream about wonderful landscapes and condense in few words centuries of history that forged entire cultures. The Silk Road indicates the group of commercial routes that link Asia, and China in particular, to the Middle East and the Mediterranean Sea.

Samarkand, Bukhara or Kashgar are legendary destination between myth and history. Those town are rich of mosques, minaret and old madras (the Koranic schools) decorated with blue majolica and mosaic, all wonderfully preserved.

We decided to travel a portion of Silk Road, touching Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and China. An unforgettable trip across 3 countries with very unique cultures.
