After our trip to India, we fell in love with Asia and decided to go back. But where? At the time, the most popular destinations were Thailand, Malaysia and Bali in Indonesia. So we started reading, comparing information, and our choice fell on Vietnam, which sounded a quite unusual destination; to complete our tour, we also decided added few days to the neighboring Cambodia (link).
It took only a few days to get a first impression of Vietnamese people. Proud and bold, this is the attitude that distinguish them. What we saw are tireless people, starting their long working day at dawn, and keep going till late at night.
Thanks to this spirit, after only 40 years from the end of the conflict, Vietnam has been able to get up again and be the country it has become today.
